most of my back related issues have always been lower back and i’ve been able to fix it doing the McGill big 3 with cobra pushups and posas stretches… However, yesterday out of nowhere i got mid back pain towards the my left rib where i have never felt pain before… i almost couldn’t move or sit stand comfortably… it was horrible… this morning i just went through this routine and WOW what a difference it made! thank you doc! …damn i just turned 30 and it seems like i now have to add another one of these mobility excreciones to my daily routine
Now those were some good ones. It's hard to remember all these to keep things feeling good, I wonder if there is something you could make like a small stretch card setup that has each stretch on a card describing how to do it, pocket reference type thing.
is it fine that my pain gets a lot worse after those stretches? i just did almost all of the stretches and now my back hurts even more, its like a burning,stabbing pain and kind of tingling and numbness. Thats the same kind of pain I always have but its worse now
No it’s not the ideal case. I had the same issue and I went to the doctor. I just had the same situation like you when my pain got worse as I did exercise. He told me that exercising not helpful for extreme pain. First, I need to rest my back, have some painkillers and do nothing for few days until I feel my pain back lowered. Then, that time is the right time for exercising. I hope you get well soon.
I am in my mid 60s and have been seeing chiropractors since my late 20s for lumbar and cervical radiculopathy. A recent shoulder tear surgery had me sleeping in positions that caused horrible chest and upper abdomen spasms. A fun first for me...I was so tight that the rib or vertebrae could not be moved, especially with a compromised shoulder preventing my current provider from using leverage points for his attempts.....Now, ...Just this minute after coming here to you for assistance, I felt that pop after the foot grab "stretch"... I have seen 9-10 different doctors over my carrer setting tile.. Only two offered detailed home care suggestions like yours. Maybe three others would take time for offering generalities when asked. SO THANK YOU!! I incorporate your help with the chiropractic assistance in manipulations i seek when I can't realign myself. You have saved me money, time and shortened my length of painful episodes, now including this one. No doubt you have helped ward off symptom masking steroid injections and likely even .surgery. ....I hope your life rewards you as much good as you give here.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! A few weeks ago, I first had issues with my rhomboid muscles and watched your video and it helped me take care of that issue. Last night I got maybe 2 hours of sleep, because my back was knotted up, so I did the stretches for my rhomboid, but that didn't do the trick even though I did all the stretches several times. So, I ended up using my infrared lighting which helped just enough to let me fall asleep for about 2 hours. This morning when I got up my back was still in pain... not as much as last night but still enough to keep from starting my day. I went to your RU-vid account and typed in lower back and found this video and it's EXACTLY what I needed... I'm no longer in pain. Still tired from lack of sleep, but the pain is gone. Thank you, I so appreciate you. 💔
You’re awesome, but this stuff does make me wonder… who thought to move like this, for us to learn it today? What poor fellow was mangled in the original practices… it’s a weird thought, but interesting.

Hi Dr Rowe. Mine and my daughter both have been experiencing extreme back pressure/sore after a couple of chiropractor adjustments. Feel pressure in my back when I breathe. Can't sleep. Starting to get anxiety from so much worry. What's the best way to resolve my issue. Is it normal to feel this after?

I’ve been having spasms in my flank from we suspect too much exercise too fast and my doctor suggested looking for stretching videos. I haven't watched the full video, but the first exercise is helping so far. I don't have specific trigger movements so its hard to figure out exactly what might help. I watched this since it mentioned mid-back. Do you have other videos that also may help? Also thanks for this video!!
hi Dr. Rowe. Question: for exercise 3, if i felt some pain form the ribs (like it got squeeze together) when i tilt my body to the unpainful side. if there's anything i can do to alter the exercise? thank you soooo much for all the great videos! they help me a lot!
Dont no if its the zapain i took or theses stretches but ive got relief , wish i done theses stretches first though , zapain kill my belly of next day most of the time normaly avoid but its 4am an its bin killin me since half ten, middle of back just below shoulder on the right side always that spot that flares up out the blue , any idear what could be the cause , i do have a blocked kidney but that my left kidney, ...did lift a couch few year back next day that pain , now flares up every other month , same spot , what you reckin it could be weak muscle cuz of past injury ? I've been having discomfort underneath my armpit that runs down the side my chest and ribcage....the exercises relieved me straight away....how often should I do these exercises.....I dont want to aggravate it anymore 🙈
Hello Doc new subscriber here. Thank you for all your videos! I suffer from spasms that feel like vibrations when I sit a certain way or when I toss and turn during sleep. They don't hurt but I will feel them thru out my body until I sit correctly or straighten my back. What videos would you suggest to help me. Had MRI and it showed arthritic changes in my L4,L5,S1 and also in the middle of my back ( don't remember which vertabrae). I am 50+ lbs over weight and going to do my best to lose that belly fat and weight to see if that helps, don't want to have surgery if I can help it. Had two epidural last year and they didn't help with the spasms.
