A quick and easy way to remove a very stuck hydraulic cylinder pin. It took me a few tries and lots of patience, but we got it out. If you want to make things much easier on yourself, spin the cab so this cylinder pin isn't over the tracks. What's the fun in that though?

Leave the barrel in there and just pull the rod out of the barrel and repack it.

Why didn't you turn the cab so you could get to it easier under between the two tracks

Thanks for your comment. I’ve used this technique in a few other areas, such as an outrigger arm on the kubota. This video was really about showing the technique as it has never failed me. In this situation though, I believe either the machine hydraulics were open or there was an RV on the side bay. I can’t remember, but the reason I show this video was simply for the technique as I’ve used it a few times on stuck pins where I’ve spent a lot of time trying to drive out

Take a drink every time he says suck. Remove the track or at least loosen the track.

What’s the fun in that?! Lol. The idea was to show this technique that I’ve used in many areas for stuck pins. I actually could have spun the cab side ways and had much less problems.

But because you can’t tap it because of the tank, this still would have been the only way to pull it out.
