How to remove and install the rear wheel on a Triumph Speed Triple
In this easy-to-follow Step-by-Step video, I show you the correct way to remove the rear wheel from a Triumph Speed Triple and re-install it. I also show you how to remove and replace the rear mudguard.
I've been wanting to swap the factory Triumph rear hugger with a brand new Carbon mudguard, but to get to the fixings the rear wheel has to come off, so I ask my friends at Motorcycle Tyres UK Ltd to help me so I can show you how the professionals do it. I also show you how easy it is to replace the Radiator Covers on a Speed Triple.

Hi Phil, good vid, I remove my wheels, on my 2018 RS model, every year, for a good strip down and clean! it’s black. Picked up a couple of nice tips there! I have carbon everywhere. Including the tail unit and heat shield! Looks great! Cheers for the vid.👍🏻

Hi Phil looking great your bike , the carbon looks great especially on the black triple, and like yourself I always love to get cleaning around the bike when some parts are removed .👍😁 make me wish I still had my triple as sold it last year .🙁😁

Hi! Thanks for the kind comments. I’m hoping to do a couple more things to Speedy but it will have to wait for now. You have to clean if given the opportunity, it’s daft not too! 🤪 What did you replace your Triple with? 🤔

Hi Phil , replaced it with the 701 supermoto 😂 different style right enough and miss the triple for longer distance travel !! I still have the old trusty xr400 so maybe a third bike is needed and it will be another triple for sure 👍👍thanks for reply . Is yours for sale 🤣🤣👍
