Glad you found it useful - It is really an easy fix, and its easy to get the replacement parts from a wreckers. Thanks for watching. Please remember to subscribe.
They do indeed. My golf is the lowest spec (in Australia), however I changed the interior over to the top spec type Golf R, and they both have exactly the same sliding arm rest. The cheaper model is in cloth, the top Golf R is in leather. Thanks for watching and please subscribe.
Hi Mate, most VW's use the same clips to hold in the panels. As long as you are pulling them in the right direction they come off reasonably easily. The side panels usually just pull straight off. Unfortunately I have not specifically tried the VW Atlas, but looking at the interior they are all very similar, so shouldn't be too different from my video. If I am ever too worried about pulling a panel off I make sure I can get a replacement panel from a car scrap yard if I do break something, however I have never broken a panel yet. Let me know how you go.
Just found this video after looking at a MK6 Golf. One of the fins/slots that direct the airflow has broken, here's the picture to better explain - drive.google.com/drive/folders/1oxMMJdM-35THhrBen6qMXxUAn6K5wir5?usp=sharing. Would I need to replace the whole unit or can I just replace the fins/slots or can I just replace the part this guy took off in the video?
