Very helpful. Thanks. To clarify, Live Photos takes a 3 second video when you press the shutter, then displays the middle photo as the still photo. You want to hold the phone steady for 3 seconds or move it slowly. The camera can't take a 1.5 second video BEFORE you press the shutter. It would have to be a mindreader to do that. 😊

Apple must think they’re a mind reader because that’s their description of what happens when you take a Live Photo. Live Photos tries to choose the best photo of what’s taken. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Hi Travis that option is automatically applied to photos no need to turn it in. Tap on the photo and then tap on the i at the bottom.

Yes, I see the i with the circle around it but when I tap on it, I still do not see the thing where it as recognize the name of the plant

Sorry Travis! Your iPhone definitely can do it. It’s called visual lookup and should automatically be there for plants animals etc. You may need to reach out to Apple.
