Took the dur base out but, now can't get it back in. door will not close. Take the it out door closes nicely but, with it in won't close. Oh the joys of cleaning stuff. LOL

Still cannot get the freezer basket back into the freezer drawer. Any suggestions?

There might be some ice build up preventing your basket from going back in. Could you please check if that's the case?

It took me hours, but I figured it out. remove the two tiny screws one on each side metal bracket. door and white brackets as a unit come off then. fit bin into frame / slots. NOW HERE IS THE HARD PART ... metal "hook" (looks like thing that holds shelves in refrigerator) must go into a slot, be held in until the tiny screw replaced ... once both sides in, replace screw while holding hook in, all will glide smoothly from there! good luck!

+davegt27 Yeah, I'm also wondering that. I managed to get the evaporator cover off without removing the slides/rails, however getting it back on the same way is not possible.

+davegt27 Wow, turned out to be incredibly easy. There's a plastic tab near the rear of the slide, just push it in and slide the rail out. I saw the tab before, but for some reason it looked solid to me (i.e. like it wouldn't push in).

So simple on easy, well designed models. But the shit models that you can't even get off the side rails aint on here, of course. Kenmore 59669283011 is what we want to see. FYI
