Oh it’s great, learned a lot and you’re guaranteed a job knowing a trade. Funny thing is I ended up getting a job at a university, mostly sitting at a desk. It pays about the same as a diesel tech in my area would make, but easier on the body. Everyone that went to school with me and finished the program has more money now then they previously did. I would highly recommend it if you find it interesting. Don’t let people say it’s a dying career because of electric vehicles, it’s not.

I thought it was a D398 but that was almost 20yrs ago. It had almost 20k hours on it and the owner was afraid it would have a major breakdown so it was replaced with a new one.

+John Smith That is too good of an idea. I guess the hard part would be to tell if the dowel is moving or the collar. I guess you could use a paint pen to mark it.

+Dillon Griggs I believe, although I'm currently sick and my brain is half working, that a 6TS is a C-16, which usually make about 600 HP. Most of the normal C15 parts will work, other than the cylinder packs.

I don’t think it’s a c-16 tho you know more than me but We just got a new 6TS at work it’s a 475 and I really like the truck it pulls great those are the first letters of the serial number on the motor. It’s in a 1998 w900 just got a fresh rebuild. Hey man sry your sick tho hope you feel better and keep up the videos!!! Great videos really informant and can learn a lot from you!! My brain is now back to operating normally (whatever that means). The 7CZ is the C16, not the 6TS. The 6TS is a normal, good old 3406E.
