You are a saint, thank you. Just bought a 69 Marauder and wondered how I get those off. I`ve seen the linkage, but it seems to be a little bit stuck. Before using to much force, I just wanted to make sure, I to the rigth thing :D
Okay you made a great video, I never knew they were fiberglass. I grew up with Mercury Marquis I took one of them off once and it was the hardest thing I ever did in my life. However our Cadillac had two hooks on the bottom they were metal and they were so much easier to work with. I always went crazy trying to get the Mercury skirt on. But here's the real reason for fender skirts aesthetics number one, and it stopped when from getting in the wheel well which made the car more aerodynamic believe it or not also your car is too nice from the time where it absolutely demanded some nice 1 to 2-in White Walls. I also think you have an optional color. And those years the optional color was the compete with Cadillac fire mist. Ford calders glamour paint. Monterrey was an entry level but still extremely nice and the much rarer name as it was discontinued long before the Marquis. Nice car in good job
haha I always thought you just pried them off with a screwdriver like a hubcap. The car thankfully doesn't look that bad without it. In case you lose it or damage it.
