Btw you unclipped the scuttle panel very easily in the video but mine was clipped in very tightly near the glass with 5 white plastic clips so for anyone trying this try to look underneath the panel from the engine compartment side up to the windshield side to see and push up the clips with your hands to unclip the panel. If not you risk breaking attachment points or clips .. like i did. Wish i could add pictures to show what i mean. Also if your wiper arms are really stuck do not keep smashing the bolt (to avoid damage to wiper arm linkage) but get a wiper arm pulling tool. If anything at least screw the nut back on the bolt until it's flush with the head before tapping it with a hammer to not damage the threads.
@@06stiguy63 I had the same issue. I needed to remove the scuttle panel to get access to the wiper motor. I have my wipers stuck in the upright position. I ended up breaking one of the white end clips so I gave up on removing it out of fear of breaking the rest of the clips. Now, the scuttle panel 's rubber portion does not lay flush with the windshield and I still have the wiper arms in the upright position. What did you do to seat the panel back against the glass after the clips broke?
U can put in there some small filter, like from pantyhose, (steal from your girlfriend xD) or even better put active carbon filter, that's little expensive, but active carbon filter neutralise all smells from air, all kind of smell coming from outside, for exemple u driving behind some diesel truck and all bad smell from diesel coming inside, with carbon filter u don't have that problem :D that filter also clean air from bacteries, viruses etc. thats healty, also that act like additional filter, and in that way polen filter can last much longer :) U can find that carbon filters in old kitchen ventilation things, i don't know how that called in english, i think it's KITCHEN HOOD, u can recognize that filter easly, there are small charcoal balls.
