. Wear some protective gloves if you have them (just incase)
. Pull drawer out
. Locate the secret clips on right and left
. Press these down/ in together.
. Gently lift drawer and pull towards you.

This literally just saved us as we had inserted drawer at wrong height and had no idea how to remove again. Thank you so much! Don't know why ikea instructions don't seem to show this.
