After having the mower deck disassembled for an entire month waiting for warranty service, I completely forgot how it came apart. Your video flashed my memory and made it so easy to reassemble. Thanks!

Thank you for such a great video! The camera work was perfect. I could see everything clearly. My husband broke a spindle and was going to pay some one good money to fix but after watching your video I knew I could do it myself. You saved us a lot of money but just as importantly, the underside of the mower is no longer a mystery.

Thank you 😊! I removed the deck 8 months ago and forgot where things were connected. Thought I was going to have to call in the pros, but your (pro) video saved the day! Nice job! 👌

Had to take my deck off since my stabilizer bar got bent up and didnt know where it went back. Your video was clear and your verbal was spot on. Thank you very much
Thx man. I bought this mower yth 2348 for $75 because it had a "bad engine." I was in such a hurry removing the deck to get it in my van that I forgot where that last bar went. Much appreciated. I fixed the engine btw.

I have watched 10-15 videos on how to remove the deck on the 24V48 and yours is the best. It's the only one that clearly shows how the anti-sway bar is attached to the frame. Thank you
I had to drop my deck to replace the idler pulleys. Reattaching the deck I was standing there with the stabilizer bar scratching my head trying to remember where it goes. After a few minutes of not figuring it out it's off to RU-vid I go. Your video was the first in the list that look liked it applied to my situation. Sure enough you pointed me in the right direction. Awesome!!! 👍

Great video. You actually show (in focus) all the connections. Any chance of doing a video showing the connection of the snow blower attachment to this model?
Thank you, I’m glad this video was helpful, Please give this a thumbs up, subscribe and tell your friends to help my channel grow. I do not get into installing snow blowers or blades on tractors like your because there are to hard on the machine. Meaning, I’m my opinion, you are gonna greatly lower the life of the tractor by installing a plow or blower on the front of your machine.

Off subject but i have the exact same mower and i am having trouble finding a bagger setup for it any suggestions on where to find one? All i can really find is for 42 and 46 inch decks
Nice video, well my the belt in the top is loose but also the handle that controls the levels ,I dont know what going on i try to adjust the nut in the back and the nut to adjust and still loose. I move up and down the handle . I am talking about the part between the frame and the tire the one it has the safety pin like a butterfly' to adjust level. thank you

Not sure, I always take the deck off because it’s just very difficult to work in and around the pulleys. If you attempt it, let me know how you made out.
If you have any grease fittings to grease they will be on the top of the blade shafts. Some had them and some did not. If you have them you should be able to grease them without taking the mower deck off. Yes it will be easier to take the deck off to grease them but you do not have too.
That piece that connects to the front I can’t get the nut all the way on for the life of me, the little chrome bar that connects to front of mower deck, other than that everything is working fine any suggestions? The one with the bowl shaped washer, you pushed it out after disconnecting it from deck but I had it serviced at a shop and they took the nut off and left it on the mower deck and I cannot get it back on
I guess the question is why did they give you that nut back. How was the front of the mower deck staying up? after getting machine back from the shop. They are most of the time locking nuts and very difficult to get on and off sometimes. Are use PB blaster and that helps and sometimes I put the entire bar in a voice and use either an impact gun or a Closed and wrench with a pipe for leverage. It could also be stripped and you will need to buy a new deck stabilizer bar and nut.
@@JohnsonsSmallEngines they put a snowblower on it last fall and I was just putting the mower deck back on in spring, I don’t see why they did it the way they did your way looks much better.
Not sure if there is any difference in the mower decks but I’m pretty sure the 24v48 has a Briggs and Stratton engine and your 24k48 should have a Kohler engine.
I had trouble finding a video for this mower, but the one I had bought from someone had the tension belt loosened completely taken off! I can’t find any other way to loosen this without breaking the belt, I need a little more help
Does your mower deck have the lever that you pull away from the mower to loosen the belt? How do you engage the mower deck? A switch or a engagement lever?
@@JohnsonsSmallEngines I can’t loosen the belt is what I’m saying, the lever isn’t there. The mower deck is engaged with a switch/button that you can pull in or out
I would say that somebody rigged it with the incorrect belt. And if the handle is missing and it was there before? Or if it has been taken off you will need to put a new one on. There should be spring tension holding that belt on and it sounds like somebody rigged it so tight that you will need to try to figure it out.
