HOW TO REMOVE REARVIEW MIRROR | Vios / Yaris is a quick tutorial on how you can easily remove and reinstall your car's rearview mirror.
The rearview mirror may have to be removed or uninstalled when tinting or replacing the windshield, or when the rearview mirror itself is broken and have to be replaced.
Removing the rearview mirror is a very simple task and you only need one tool to do it.

Very helpful video. I have a rear view mirror dashcam similar to the one in the video but found that the weight of it causes the mirror to tilt down every time the car hits a bump in the road. Was wondering how to remove the mirror.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

How to remove side pillar for vios 2020? Need to take out battery terminal? Worry that airbag trigger.

@@pulasminyak Hi. The airbags deploy when the front and side collision sensors detect strong impact during an accident, but you can disconnect the negative cable from the battery for safety. You can pull out the rubber weather strip first then carefully pull on the ends/edges of the side pillar covers. If you see a piece of plastic retainer inside that locks the cover in place you can use pliers to rotate it sideways to release the cover. Just be careful not to break anything. Hope this helps. :)
