This is what worked for me. I'm satisfied with the results and the effort it took to fix the paint problem. Much cheaper than any other option I know of that works quickly.
You are the man for this video!! Somebody threw paint all over my car and the goof off worked perfectly. I used the liquid one and not the spray one but it took the paint off like butter😁. Prior to your video I brought it to a detail shop and they couldn’t get it off. They said I had to paint the whole side of the car. This video saved me so much money, thanks again!
I recently purchased a black vehicle. While driving on the highway, I drove over the freshly painted white lines. The paint spatter was all along the passenger side. Your video helped me get rid of all the white paint. I have not tried it on the mud flaps yet, But I think it should work. Thanks again......
I am sooooo upset, because I ran over a can of paint last night on a dark road. It splattered all over a new paint job. I will try this... thanks so much! 👍
Just be sure to wash the area after and rinse well. Do a small area then wash. Small area then wash. Doing that doing that will highly reduce your risk of of damaging paint. Also be careful how long you leave on plastic as is can discolor the plastic.
Super helpful video man! I had a nice sized splatter of dried on wax that no matter what i tried i couldn't remove. With this process it came off clean in 5 minutes!

Rental car, brand new small can of paint, drive over can, can explodes. No bueño. Not recommended. Manage to frantically wash paint off, but many specks remain. Will use your method. Thanks so much for sharing.
Been trying every product I can think of k off from clay bar,WD40,and even some GooGone ,and even bought a buffer and was gonna try to wax and buff it up but I guess I’ll get the Goof off first ,something told me to get the goof off instead of the Goo gone ,tried to save money ey I guess but it’s got the same kinda paint on my black car ,I hope it work just like it did on your truck ,thanks in advance sir
This stuff worked on my 2021 Tesla Model 3 without ANY damage to the paint or clearcoat. I tried using Chemical Guys Butter Wax and it didn’t remove the stuff. Anyway, many thanks to the OP for this tip!!
I have gone through almost a whole bottle of butter wax. It removed some paint but I'm going to get a bottle of goof off. Spent too much time with butter wax.
awesome! I restore furniture and the wind was apparently stronger than i thought when i was spraying a piece so it got some on my car. going home to try this for sure!
Is there anything I need to do after I’ve heard some people talk about wax and other stuff? What things would it also remove and I would need to replace once again?
I treated my "white wheel wells" with black spray-on bed liner they look much better black but wind carried a little overspray on the back doors of my brand new 2021 ProMaster will this remove spray-on bedliner overspray
Thank you for the video but I do have one question and that is I have a black truck as well and I must’ve rode the line because I have a little bit of splatter but it is absolutely caked on the wheel wells and on the bottom of the whole driver side THICK. Any and all advice please
Thanks again for your help. Just purchased a 2021 ford escape hybrid and now the door panels and mudflaps have all yellow road paint on them. Tried goofoff it seemed to work about 90 percent of the paint came off the plastic door panels. Do you have any suggestions on how to get it off the mudflaps and tires? Thanks again
My car accidentally got these kinds of spots but it was from a building that got painted nearby. Not sure what kind of paint they used, I know it's a metal building. do you think I should try this?
I have the same exact issue. I drove past a work crew painting the white center stripes on the road a couple weeks ago and just discovered the white specks on the dang roof of my new raven black Cadillac! I tried multi-purpose cleaner, rubbing alcohol, and nail polish remover (with soapy water on hand to quickly remove the excess acetone from the clear coat) and nothing worked so far. I’m gonna go buy some goof off after seeing this video. Unless you have found a solution that worked since posting. Please let me know if you were able to get it off.
It was about a month. I was trying to find someone that could clean it for me that would have more experience than I do. But couldn't find anyone so I just decided to go for it.

Make a bottle of muriatic acid a third of the bottle than the rest water sprayed on your rims let him sit for about 3 to 5 minutes then spray it off with a power washer they will look brand new I work at a detail shop and that's what we use make sure after you do that you use soap and wash your rims to deactivate the acid
Yes if you painted your wheels with spray cans this will eat right through it - this stuff is really strong , i used this to strip off the Paint off my wheels you gotta wear gloves and a mask it’s very potent! im surprised it didn’t get through the clear coat on this vehicle Awesome!
