Find out what percent silver metal to the copper in it yield is (chemistry extraction from Nitric and Hydrochloric acids aqua regia main costs to sugar and sea salt and then torch melt/crucible wear). Silver is still stubborn to climb past $23/oz (31.1 grams) after 13 years of $48/oz to $13/oz swing. At $23/oz today "junk silver" is near the silver bars or rounds price (if made by reputable coin exchange bank). Unknown or unauthentic 99.99 % rounds and bars are close to the same formula as 85-90% its full value (measured meter purity) of tge discretion of a coin buying dealer. That weak assay value is because of potential buying clients want certification of real bank mint stamps vs unknowns (including jewelers who buy and melt bars and rounds and non numismatic coinage).

Better way. If the contractors still work try selling them whole to factories. I've fixed a 400A contactor by brazing on a junk silver dime on each point, fixed 1300 dollar switch for about 12 bucks in dimes and a few cents of brazing wire and propane. ❤

you can easily remove this type of contacts by heating using a small kitchen jewelry torch with butane gas wich cost aprx. 2 euro 300ml, if the contacts are more bigger and the base metal is more bigger you must cut the contacts with base metals to form a small piece wich can be heated quickly
