This video shows how to remove the old spoiler and fit a new RS style spoiler on a Ford Fiesta Mk7/MK8. You can purchase your roof spoiler here: www.powerfuluk.com/catalogsea...
Guys don't bother chopping and soldering wires :) they won't have made a seperate wiring look for Zetec+ZetecS+ ST etc, take off the old spoiler, unwrap the tape from around the wire and washer hose and gently pull it through the bung. Job done!
This is actually true , I just did this for my fiesta , just take the tape off , and very carefully pull the wire through .. not the same for the wiper tube though
+Diluted Shade Hi - is there an "eyeball" in the middle of the washer that you can direct the direction of the spray - use a pin. This is normal for front screen washers but not sure if its the same for the rear.
+Diluted Shade Can you look at a genuine one and see where it points ? I will take a look next time our cleaner comes over - she has a genuine Ford Fiesta ST. Another random thought ... you cant rotate it 180 Deg ?
Hi, I have a standard Fiesta and I'd like to do the same spoiler upgrade, but the supplier is out of stock. Do you know where else I can get an ST-style spoiler? Needs to fit onto a standard 2010 Fiesta, not the ST one. Thanks in advance!
All these st spoilers have the same fittings for 2008-2017 fiestas. I recently picked one up from eBay which is perfect, they pop up lots on there. Can also try fb marketplace
@@E1EDITSYT so i bought it in gloss black, so I didn’t have to respray it - I can send the eBay link if you like. It came with some wire which we had to solder on to extend the brake light wire, then it was good to go (except no rear washer fluid)
@@BinamBinamVlogs7 hi mate, I did buy one and it was perfect. Got the one from eBay, wasn’t a replica it was the spoiler taken from an S and never had any issues
Hi there must be a switch somewhere that tells the car the boot is open - have a look around the edge of the boot for the switch and this should lead you to the problem.
powerfulukltd thank you for replying, I have tried searching for the switch everywhere but can not find it, it might be inside the lock. I can confirm the lock works perfectly but the car shows the boot is open. Even when the engine is off my head lamp flashes all night. Also when driving the car is making error sounds like boot opened then it disappears then it comes back again. I am soo annoyed no one knows what it can be.
do you guys still stock this spoiler? i cannot find it on your website. also do you sell any other fiesta body parts? i have a base spec fiesta and want to make it look like the zetec s model.
+Dom Drake We do still stock this product. Unfortunately we do not do any other parts for the fiesta. We do some coloured spoilers but currently have no stock of these and won't have any for a month or so, only primer available. Sorry we cannot be anymore help. Here is the link for our ST spoiler. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ABS-Rear-tailgate-roof-Spoiler-ST-look-Ford-Fiesta-MK7-VII-2008-on-NEW-7-8-RS-/281777468633?fits=Model%3AFiesta&hash=item419b3ef4d9:g:wF8AAOSw3xJVcBlm
You can cut the plug off, leaving enough to crimp a wire to the existing wire to make it long enough. So basically just get two crimps and a bit of addition wire
If you guys are gonna do this, i hate to be this guy but, make sure it wont invalidate your insurance. I spoke to my insurer and im lucky that they said it would. Otherwise, I would've known non the wiser.
Connor Mcindoe yeah, i bought the spoiler off of ebay for £85, the exact same one in this video, i have a 2010 Ford Fiesta Edge (the most basic form of fiesta i'm pretty sure)
@@nathaaanplayzfn6606 a friend of mine bought a fiberglass spoiler and after three month it broke. For my own car i bought a second hand oem ford spoiler and since november 2017 at today is perfect
