Thank you and still a very useful video. My granddaughter just bought this exact same bike as a project. Can you tell me the full name of it please? All she knows is that it's a Cobra 125. Thank you.
Cool! I am going to change my one so this is very handy to know. @Paul - Any tips on how to replace the middle stand and side stand? I have a used one on but I think I'm missing something and it keeps coming undone. Would appreciate your help on this one. Cheers.
If your stand keeps coming loose, you may have damaged bolt threads. These Chinese scooters typically have the worst quality bolts. You can try loctite, or drill through and use your own bolt with a locking nut.
Before you re-install the brake, push the piston back in to the caliper a little bit to make more space between the pads and the rotor. it is normal for the brake pads to touch the rotor, but the wheel should still spin easily. Here's a better video about the front brake: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2pPdyuixiIA.html
I have the exact same scooter and iam having trouble removing the nut from the pulley so I could put a new belt on should I put heat to it?, the previous owner might had put some tightener ever could I find tools for this matter is there a web site? I have no patients as you can tell.
Hi. What you need to do is to block the pulley through the two holes that you can see in it while you untight the 17mm nut. You can try to manage a home made tool for this one by yourself or just go to eBay and get one. What I done is to get an impact wrench which do not need to block anything and makes my life easier because if you want to remove the nut from the clutch it's a bit more trouble that the one from the pulley. I hope this can help you.
My front tire is going flat... not like a show leak but it goes instantly flat... I went out to ride it this morning and felt the tire ..it was firm like full of air.... on my way to the store it just went instantly flat ...do you know what might be wrong? I have had so many problems with my scooter...
You probably installed the speedometer puck wrong. Take the wheel back off and check it. There are some notches that should line up with grooves in the wheel. If the brake is making the wheel not spin, you can push the brake pads apart gently with a screwdriver. After installing the wheel, make sure you squeeze the brake lever a few times before riding.
