How to Remove The factory radio on a 96-98 1996 1997 1998 Honda Civic DX EX LX This video will show you how to install a aftermarket radio into a 1996 Honda Civic. Dude that's not bad!unlike other people taking off all the dashboard and whatnot ... Ima do this myself, shop charges me 180$ no thanks haha keep it up brother

Oh yeah! With the help of RU-vid I do all my own installs. Getting the vehicle apart without breaking something is my only challenge.

I was sure the digital volume would never fail. I was bad, now it's easy to solder a new one in they don't come in different 100K resistances like analog pots. do... haha wear rubber gloves, don't scrape/cut your fingers, if this is new work for you.

I've never seen it on these models. I put one in that had a fold out screen but not a full time DD. Not saying it can't or hasn't been done, just I haven't seen or done it.
