Thank you for stopping by and watching our video. The Lexus NX200T shares some similarities to the Toyota Rav4. Both vehicles offer a great and easy way to remove the rear bumper covers without too much difficulty. We started on the fender flares which are held on by a few plastic clips. Get ready to use your flat-head screwdriver or panel clip remover quite a bit on this vehicle. There is an Allen bolt which is a bit out of place the but size of the Allen key is a four. Once all the clips and the Allen bolt are removed, gently pull the fender flare off. This will expose a bolt underneath that will realize the bumper ends. Next, we moved to the bottom of the rear bumper and removed the lower cover. We think it's called the lower bumper cover or lower valance, but it is held on by 8 plastic clips. So, get that panel clip remover or flat-head screwdriver out and get to work. There are a couple of 10mm bolts on the far corners that hold the bumper to the splash shield. Remove the bottom and you're about 75% complete with the removal process. Last, but not least, we removed the top bumper bolts. We always save the top for last because we do not want the bumper falling off as we are removing the bottom screws. Bumpers aren't heavy but we do not need any distractions and try to minimize any unsafe practices. There are 2 bolts on each side next to the tail light. They are covered by little plastic caps that you can pop off with your flat=head screwdriver or panel clip removal tool. Once you remove the four bolts, you can now pull the bumper off. You want to start by poping the bumper off the brackets on each end or start by the wheels. Pull each side off first, working from the outside towards the middle. Just in case you are doing a different type of repair, you don't want to damage your bumper by it hitting the floor. And that is all she wrote! It's a very straightforward process and we hope you save some money and time doing the project yourself. This should also work for the Lexus NX300 as well. Thank you for watching!
