I went to T mobil and they referred me to a repair store. $264 + tax because they need to replace the screen. I watched 3 videos before I saw this. I knocked on my desk with a mouse pad for 10 times. When I saw the broken pen was not as deep as before. I tried 2nd time. It popped out after the 31 knocking. So don't be discouraged. It works without paying $285!
OMG!!! My man!!! My phone fell off my mobile phone carriage I had attached to my e-bike today and when I picked up my phone, I found just an end piece of my s-pen on the ground. Thanks man, this really worked! The end (clicky part) of mine was in there too, so I thought it wouldn't work, but it did. Took just a few seconds. I was really worried after seeing some other tutorials that I would have to use the skewer method or do some other time-consuming or complicated thing, but nope! You just earned a subscriber.

Yes, super glue passed through my mind as well as opening my phone. Then the inspiration of You Tube! I asked and it was my good luck to come across ctuan13's video instruction, which is very well done. I followed the simple instructions and moments later the broken S-Pen was on the floor. Thank you!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! ... Over 3 years later and your video saved me from having to spend $35 to $45. This is exactly why I tell folks to go to RU-vid University. I placed a broken stylus back into my Note9 out of habit, while I was waiting for the arrival of my new stylus from eBay. I went to a cellphone store today to see if they would be able to remove the stylus for me since I've been trying to remove it myself for over a week. The store owner stated that it would take approximately 1.5 hours and $35 for him to work on getting the stylus removed; AND that if he accidentally breaks the back of my phone then I shouldn't worry because it would only cost $10 to replace it. Luckily the store was about to close in less than an hour, so he wasn't going to have enough time to work on my phone today.

Just used this method...omg, thanks 😊 🙏 worked like a charm. When my pen broke I didn't realize nthr other half was in the phone till my replacement came. I saw the other videos and didn't feel comfortable using glue or sharp objects. It flew out with a few light taps.

I tried this with a T-shirt wrapped around my phone, it also works fine. Just remember not to tap the phone too hard, but just give it a mild repeated taps. Good stuff bro
Are you kidding me..... after trying all the clue.... after skip in less than 2mins S-pen is out... after left broken for almost a year... even took it to a repair shop to see if they can take it out.... and the charges 🙄 I won't mention.... Wow!!! This fix took less than expected... thank you...❤

Done with a Note 9. Thank you. Against the heel of my hand while in an Otter Box Defender. The sad thing is in the course of looking around for solutions you quickly discover broken Spens are all too typical and to be expected. My was in the dock when the phone dropped to a hardwood floor about 2ft. Screen is great. Thanks Otter Box.
This is 2nd time this has happened. 1st time tried with glue but had to get replacement. Took phone to repair store today and they couldn't get it out. Ty so much...this worked!!

Omg! I was going to put crazy glue or hot glue on the end of a hairpin as soon as I tried breaking it open. This worked! My pen came put after being completely shoved inside and stuck. Thank you.
OMG...This worked...half my pen was still inside, but when I used the other half to engage it, I tapped a few times & VOILA, the other half came out...THANK YOU at 2am!
My man. This actually worked, in my case its a Moto Stylus but same principle i assumed since the stylus ejects on impact. The crazy thing is my phone felll and lost the pen as it flew out completely and in somewhere thats too tough to look for so i bought a replacement. Keep in mind i drop my phone somewhat occasionally but that was the third time maybe it had fallen out completely usually it just pops out a bit. Literally the next day dropped it with the replacement a cheap one admittedly, and it landed on the popped out stylus and snapped in half. I never found the second half but given the phone was saying the stylus was out, i assumed it was gone completely. My second replacement gets here and i put it in only to realize its not going in and something is blocking and realize this very situation happened. Looked around everyone recommended the glue idea which i was hoping for an alternative when i found this video. Just wanted to share my story but it worked out great, i tried doing it with my hands but it worked better as you said against a edge of a table or counter. Thanks again
S-pen broke and half stuck inside. I didn’t know how to pull it out. Thanks to this video, I succeeded. It turns out that you just had to tap the table harder with your phone so that the S-pen fell out. Which I did. Thanks!
I had already replaced my original S pen with an aftermarket version that fit more tightly. Then, of course, it broke! The glue on the skewer tip did not hold-so I could not pull out my stylus with that method. I had some 1" #4 Robertson screws on hand. I selected a drill bit that would make a hole a tiny bit smaller than the diameter of the threads of the screw. Not pressing too hard I drilled about ¼" straight into the broken end of the stylus. I blew away the bits of plastic that I had drilled out. Then I carefully pressed the point of the screw into the hole as I turned the head of the screw with my fingers. Once the screw was holding in the hole, I was able to use a Robertson screwdriver to turn the screw in a bit deeper. My broken stylus now slides in & out of my Note8 quite handily & the screw head sticks out about 1/4 inch. That will do until my new S pen arrives from Amazon.

I went to sleep on the phone when I was so tired,my stylis broke like yours,but I can't tell if it is in there...I tore my bed apart and still couldn't find the part you got out ..I can't see it,just a little spot the end fits in,Help 😁
Worked for me! The piece that I hook with my finger nail to pull my pen all of the out snapped off as I was putting the pen away. This worked on the first try! Props to you!

Thank you soooo much! I tried the kabob stick and didn't want to attempt any super glue so I kept looking and found your video. Didn't work as quickly as yours (so people, don't stop right away if it doesn't come out after a few taps) but after repeating the motion several more times it slid right out!
Worked perfectly. I went to the bathroom counter just like you did. Had to knock about a dozen times. Final a couple good hard knocks did it. Thank you so much. I had the bamboo skewers out with super glue but did not want to do that. My stylus broke and part of the case slid off.

Hey man, I'm glad you were able to get it out! As for repairing an S Pen it's really not possible and not a good idea. If the S Pen is held together with glue or some other adhesive and is either ever so slightly wider or crooked, it can get stuck much more firmly inside the phone, this time permanently, and this trick won't help. Your best bet is to buy a replacement S Pen. I've left links in the description of the video, feel free to check them out! Hope this helps!

Worked great My stylist broke from in Lg stylo6 and followed what you said as you were saying it and the stylist popped right out Thank you my phone was only 2 weeks old
I missed my spen and I thought it was lost forever inside. I saw a couple of videos that pried it out by destroying the end, but this worked first try! Since the clicking mechanism is stuck I'm just going to use this regularly. Thank you!

My s pen recently broke and I was able to get it out of my phone but half of the outer "shell" got stuck in my phone and it won't come out when a tap my phone on the table and I have even tried the skewer technique. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Came back to say thanks, just dropped my phone and my s pen broke... didn't think it was still in there but the spare from my old phone wouldn't slide in. Three firm taps (on some pads with the case on) and out it popped!
