How to repairing and servicing a Paslode IM65A nail gun.

This is a common fault with the Paslode second fix. This yoke part fails and the gun will no longer plunge correctly.
Normaly the hooks for holding the springs brake of, but in this one the yoke compleatly broke in half.
The gun needs to stripped compleatly to change the yoke so it's always a good practice to compleatly servuce the gun while it's dismantled.

My yolk just broke too. The two hooks that hold the spring have both snapped off. Somehow im missing a spring too, which is strange because ive never taken the gun apart completely. New yolk is on the way, this video will definitely help me put it all back together. Thanks Also do you think the yolk can function with only one spring?

HI Dean, my Hitachi NR90GC2 wasn't firing nails - it's not had much use but it's been in storage fore 7 years. I watched your vids on it and the Paslode. Fan and spark are fine. The two O-rings were a bit slack so I replaced them and oiled. Reed strip had had some of the black silicone-type stuff used to seal the housing creep between them so I cleaned that up so it can seal properly. But it fires one nail perfectly but the driver pin still stays out and doesn't return. It moves back and forth freely manually and is lubricated. have I missed something?! Thank you!"
