How to replace a Cowl Panel on a 1971 C10 Chevy Truck

In this video I'm going to show you how to replace a cowl panel on a 1971 Chevy C-10 truck. If you are doing a restoration on your classic Chevy truck and want to know whats involved in removing a cowl panel you are at the right place. I will show you the tools needed and a step by step process of the disassembly.
These techniques can also be used on Chevrolet C10, C20, C30 and GMC trucks, Blazer and Jimmy 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971 and 1972.

“Using my nifty little boom”. Lol I’m already past this stage on the C10 I’m restoring. But it’s interesting to watch how others do things. Your rust isn’t bad at all compared to mine. This C10 sat uncovered in the rain for over 25 years. Good thing it’s a Texas truck.

67 C10 short bed. My grandfather bought new in 67, became my first truck in 1993, I sold it to my cousin in late 90's, he pawned it in 2018 and I bought it back from pawn shop. LOTS of work to do to get her right again!

I'm picking up a 66' C10 SWB Stepside. Has a running 283 with 2 speed Powerglide. Getting the plans together to go pick her up next Saturday! Work gets in the way sometimes!

I just got my 71 C10 two weeks ago. Have the engine and trans out and entire front clip also. Working front to back to resto-mod. I have all the same spots as you and probably anybody else. No junkyards near me but I have some near family in VA & PA.
