Thank you so much. I tried very hard with W4 and wrench. It turned out not working at all. And I just followed your instruction and now I have my new nozzle 😃
you should use a non petroleum based lubricant as your O rings will be eaten by petroleum jelly. I have a pool with many O rings and use a pool friendly lubricant (silicone based lubricant). Basically anything made for a pool/spa is safe to use on O rings.
Hi Michael, thank you so much for the tip. Much appreciated. I'm glad I have a good supply of nozzle o-rings then. Do you have the name of the lubricant you use to share with the viewers and myself? Any help is appreciated.
Yeah magic lube is one but if you go to a pool supply store you can get a tube for like $10 that will last you 10 years if your typical home user. I coat every O ring in the fall or any O ring I see thats dry especially the expensive ones that are specific purpose those always cost alot. I used to use wd-40 and p-jelly and noticed my O rings not lasting more than 3 years. Im sure you can get rubber safe lube at any auto parts store or walmart just do a bit of research. But $10 for me was not alot and the tube is huge.
