Can I replace what KIND of coil ? I have the triple but I'm scared to do it. The coil is stuck on top of the window so I can't open it. The house is 20+ yrs old and don't have a channel cover. Coil is broken, that big white bit is cracked and broken and the bottom bit has a crack at the bottom under where the window hinge goes.

How do I get the balance shoes pac man inside the channel I can turn it either way but it won’t let me turn channel straight up and down so I can lock it and insert the bottom sash into the shoes?

I replaced my balancers/springs on Anlin window double hung. one side stays down like it suppose to the other side creeps up it does not lock . what is the problem defect or bad workmanship. all parts are new

Sounds to me like the side that creeps up has a balancer too strong for that size window, and is pulling that side upward. May need to be sure they are the same size for proper operations. Let me know what you find. TY

It all happened so fast, but how did you get the window out of the frame?

The window must have tilt latches on the top of the sliding sash that moves up and down. Lift the sash up about 6 inches, then carefully tilt the window in and flat like a table top. Then carefully remove the sash.

@@americanwindowconcepts5510 thank you the reply! Just got the keys today and yes this window does tilt! I will review this video again when I finally move in the house! Thanx again! Another question, you removed a 8R and installed a 7L on the first example? Does it matter?
