Have you ever purchased a terrarium, or a grow light and it came with one of those built in, crappy timers where you have to set the time by clicking it on at a specific time of day? The main problem with those timers is they completely fail when it comes to working with other automation equipment such as Google home or Alexa. On this video we fix all of that.
I'll show you what to buy, how to cut the timer off the cord and replace it with a new, simple switch that will work with all of your existing automation equipment. This is a must know how to do it thing if you are going to be building terrariums, growing houseplants or whatever else comes with those crappy built in timers.
