What about the dash. I replaced the battery but my dash keeps telling me to change the battery after I replaced it. No one talks about that.

Did you find how to resolve that? There’s nothing in the manual about DIY for the battery or resetting the warning. Let me know!

May I add a tip. When placing the new battery slide it from the top into its nest as there are tiny clips to hold the battery in place.

Not true. If it worked before and the battery died then you just install a new battery and it should work as before. If it has been dead for a long time or is a KEYFOB that hasn’t worked before, then you will need to program it.

Not for just a battery replacement. Unless maybe it has been dead for years. But generally a battery replacement doesn’t require reprogramming. Thanks for watching and commenting. Take care.

Hmm. Check the battery to see if it’s inserted correctly. It also may be bad right out of the pack. If you ordered them from Amazon you get them cheap but I find you get some bad ones too. Good luck. Let me know what fixes it.

@@mitchcoxWhat they don't tell you here is that if the panic button is the slightest bit out of line, the whole fob won't work until you fix it. Those little buttons are pretty picky about where they go. Try taking it apart again and make sure the panic button will click ok.
