Great video, all went well but I cant seem to get it out of neutral? I have full range with the gear rod? I did take the flathead screws from the lower unit off so I can change the oil when I was finished. I also took off a Philipps head next to the bottom flat head and did have issues getting the screw back in? What do you think wnet wrong?

after following your steps the motor seems to be highly revved, and it is not the speed throtttle, and ideas what can be the issues please? also is it normal that the water pump is too tight that the blades bend when inserted?

Thank you for the video - Do you have any advice on how to remove a stuck lower unit? I have a similar Evinrude and after removing all 4 bolts, 1 nut, and disconnecting the linkage, the lower unit barely moves? I've tried PB blaster and hanging it upside down and even a come-along - it is on there! Any suggestions?

That upper piece that loojs like a bolt that the shift shaft runs through wont come off to get to the small black piece to remove to take the lower off. Any ides of how to get that off? It seems as tho mine is seized on there
