New Tie Rod from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1ASTE00419
The inner tie rod has a ball joint that can wear over time, causing a clunking noise, loose steering, and eventually, other problems with the wheel and suspension components. It’s a good idea to replace your inner tie rods as soon as you notice any of these symptoms. This video shows you how to replace the inner tie rods on your 2005-14 Ford Mustang.

Car shop quoted me $2k for two tie rod replacement and a caliper replace. Did it myself for $150 with this RU-vid. Fixed the brake caliper with a blowtorch. 10/10.

Make sure you put a “clamp” right here and a “clamp” right there… then installs zip ties. Did I make this video? ‘cause that seems like the quality of work that I usually do. Thanks for the vid. About to replace inner and outer!

Why is everybody tripping about the zip ties? It works and it's just to hold the boot in place and there were already zip tied on the thing to start with, doing a fine job. Thanks for the video, I'm gonna be changing mine out this week.

Great vid. What type of thread locker would you recommend? Red, or is blue okay?

red is great for suspension parts, just don't put it on your lugs!

Great video, highly recommend renting specialty tools from an auto store to pop the ball joint on the tie rod. A tie rod puller will save you so much frustration. Hammering may work for some but I had no success. So yeah get those specialty tools, follow this video, and you're golden.

Think I'm going to use this guide and do this install in my driveway on some jack stands. Depends how many hours of labour I'd get charged for an install like this.

Probably way too much for something that you can do in 30-60 minutes.

At first I thought the Rack mounting bushings were bad because of the way the rack moved all over the place until the camera showed the rack mounting bolt and nut undone. Hope you knew the rack was undone.

Thank you I kept twisting the alignment setter screw thing the ordinary untorque way (left loose right tight) and the reject of a bolt kept tightening to almost stripping off. I was super confused…

If that’s what the manufacturer has on there, should be no issues doing the same thing.
