I attempted to use the harbor freight tool on my NCV3 with no luck. The tool itself just slips on and you have to use two hands to hold it in and it's a difficult process. In the end it didn't work because it didn't have enough grip to break the nut free and would essentially just bend out and slip over it. I ended up just doing the rest of the job removing the rest of the suspension turning it to one side and using a bfw.

@@NelsonSeattle the tool has a lock sleeve that does work though its hard to work it.

@@fixitallpaul4847 Yes, I used the 40mm lock sleeve, it did not have enough grip to turn the nut. Plus it's extremely tedious tool to use, you have to put the sleeve on, hold it on the nut while you slide the tool over it, then lock the sleeve, and then slightly pull on it to keep it on the nut while turning the breaker bar on the end, it's a 3 armed man job. Honestly none of these tools are necessary for the 906, once you turn the steering 100% to one side, the nut is exposed enough to use a large crescent (14 inch) wrench. Took me 2 minutes once I realized this.

That tool looks awesome! I have the blue point tool with the interchangeable wrenches. I always turn the steering wheel to get the inner tie rod to where I can best get to it. Are you at a new shop? The background looks a bit different. Great job yet again!

Been at the same shop for a year and a half. I do my sitting and talking at home usually and have back drop. I used to have to have to turn the wheel to try to gain access. This is why I like this set is I leave steering wheel centered and get the whole job done quickly. Thank you for watching.

I do everything with my samsung s21. I am researching equipment. I would like to eventually get a dedicated camera for my RU-vid and a microphone. I have trouble sometimes using my cell phone because of the battery, I also post on Instagram so I find it challenging at times. Thank you for watching.
