Clear instructions and video. I just did this on my 2011 Accord. I was able to disconnect the plug, but found it easier to pull it apart (plug from the unit) after I removed the bolts. Easy to do, finished in about 20 mins.
Thank you for the video. It took a whole month for the mechanic I went to to find out what was wrong with my civic, and I paid $450 + towing which was an additional $110!!! for something I could of done myself.
On my 2005 E, I didn't get past the 10 mm cover bolts. The 10 mm socket just spun on them... rusted down in size?. I don't have a good impact tool and I'm afraid of stripping them with my ratchet. We are going to the pros and will appreciate their skills. RU-vid usually makes it look pretty easy compared to the real world. Thank you for the video regardless.
Change on an 04 accord. Followed these steps but now the neutral light is not illuminated on the dash when in neutral. Every other gear illuminates, but N. Car is on neutral because I can push it still just wondering why?
