Probably best not to for that on ET printers. I would recommend sliding printer close to an edge of a desk and slightly lifting front or back of printer to get access to rollers.
Hey, sorry to ask what if the gear inside at the other end is dead how to get to that and is there replacement parta for it for WF-7720 ? My cassette 2 would not pick up paper and makes loud clocking noises like teeth skip inside the printer. Cassestte 1 is fine. Is it even worth repairing?
Hi. It is very hard to find that gear part, and to replace it you may need to take apart the printer to almost 100% to get to the gear. Since you have 2 trays, I would not even bother working on it. If you have different paper size in eacxh tray, that may cause soe inconvenince, but otherwise just use one tray. They hold a lot more paper that most inkjet printers.
@@303electronics Thanks for the response, yes that's what I'm doing now, basically tray 2 is a paper holder :D. I would say WF-7720 is a beast, when it kicks the bucket I will get something the same, just new, this one was free with a completely dried up head too :D

No. Check the duplex unit. There are gears on the side. Spin one gear with fingers and see if all spin simultaneously and the roller that has rubber on it spins as well. Sometimes gears pop out and just need to be popped back in.

This part popped off of mine, it didn’t break but it came off and now I cannot figure out how to put it back on. I can get it on but I’m not sure how the little springy thing goes. 🤦🏻♀️
