My have followed your steps and found out that my fault is almost the same as yours but the only difference is that my sounder sounds great/normal, the rear sensor is disabled. Would you advise to still replace the sounder or the rear sensors. Thanks for your help
Hi 😎 I watch all your top tip videos and have just watched the one with the faulty rear parking sensor not working. I have an issue with mine on my 2015 Nissan Qashqai Tekna1.5 Diesel. The problem I have is that no beeping sounds from either sensors, front and rear? I have went round the whole car and cleaned the sensors as well as pessimg and depressing the parking sensor button which is location just under the steering wheel towards the driver door. My other issue that I have is with my front camera does not work. I had purchased the car from Greenlight motors down in Blackburn. The car is on finance through the bank with Santander. Picked up the car last year in November.
Hi thanks. Check in your settings that the sensors are on and there may be a volume setting too The cameras aren't great on the Qashqai and do have history of failing. So may need to source a replacement
Just got a Nissan Note 2015 E12 and there appears to be some very similar features wrapped in a slightly different body shell, very informative. Do you know if the none top of the range Nissans have the wiring for things like the rear sensors? I thought this Acenta premium had a reversing camera / sensors but sadly no. This is a low mileage car and I will be keeping it, but if this ‘upgrade’ could be added that would be great. Any of your watchers come across this change please? Thanks, Steve
Hi there thanks for sharing your brilliant content & experiences with your car . I have a question the lights on a 66 plate are zenon apparently & are super bright . Which is excellent . & told that they are self leveling but if the car is fited with the 19 inch wheels it would be a bit higher. But the trouble is being flashed concently when they are travelling in the dark . When Consulting with Nissan dealer could they go down a click on the manual adjusters on the lights was told that this would fail the mot ??????. Just told that the lights are just bright & other car drivers think that you have the high beam on when you don't & there is nothing can be done . Most frustrating because I am getting blinded out but the other car drivers if I just blip my high beam to show that high beam is not on it just will blind them out completely which is dangerous. Is there a answer be most grateful .
Thanks for doing the video, it helped me sort the sounder on my 2016 X-Trail Tekna, same part number as well. I took a punt and bought one on Amazon for £1.01 so not much of a punt even for a tight fisted Geordie! The X-Trail is slightly different where you have to remove the bolts holding the seatbelts in place and the panel is in two half’s. I couldn’t find the part anywhere online and Nissan quote £50 but it’s just a piezo at the end of the day, I had to butcher the new sounder connector housing to get the Nissan connector to fit but the piezo comes apart unlike the Nissan one so no risk of damaging the electronics and the pins are the same spacing and a good snug fit. I was well chuffed it worked! The part I used was FanPaYY Car Warning Buzzer Pdc Reverse Parking Aid Alarm Buzzer 8E0919279 Fit for V-W Skoda Seat A-ud-i
Can you please do a USB socket inside the boot or a 12volt socket for a rear camera, ice box external battery charger. I've done two sockets in the rear centre console with the video you posted. Tenka owner J11 2015 plate. Thanks
I might do. But don't really have a need for one 🤔 You could use the same wiring but probably need a stronger or in line fuse and extend it to the boot?
Hi there, I’ve just purchased my first Qashqai. (2016 Tekna). Would you mind me asking what the black box with the orange radar and cone means that is blinking after you have changed your speaker? I ask because it was visible on one of the photos advertising my car. I haven’t picked it up yet (next Wednesday) and I’m now thinking the sensors may be faulty even though the dealer has confirmed that they are all working fine. TIA, Lisa
@@TheQashqaiGuy that’s just what I wanted to hear! Thank you for you super quick reply. No line through it, just a black box with the radar/cone symbol on the roof of the virtual car. Thank you again for your helpful reply, much appreciated! Lisa
I have the same problem but when i turn off the rear sensors i still get the flashing light on the button and sometimes the fault message. All of the sensors seem fine and intact. Could it be that front and rear buzzers are dead? From my research online I found that 90% its the rear buzzer. I don't know, should I try replacing the rear buzzer and see what happens?
Hmmm it could be something else then, have you tried cleaning all the sensors and cameras? Check the sensors for any damage too, a badly placed stone chip can cause issues.
Mine has the same problem as yours did you ever find a solution, I’ve cleaned all the sensors and nothing. I’m also tempted to change the speaker and see if that does anything.
I'd be surprised if it's the rear speaker then if the fault is still there when they're turned off. I'm really unsure where the front one is located, but it could be that.
Complete novice here but my qashqai 2017 plate has opposite issue where the front sensor stopped working is it the same part that both front and back are connected too or is the sensor part you show for the front located elsewhere in the vehicle. Any help appreciated
Yes mate. There's a green light that comes on the dash when it senses a hill. It only works if you're in gear, and when you take foot off the brake, it'll flash for around 2 to 3 seconds and then release, or it'll release as you hit the biting point.
It works now Dan just found out the auto hand brake has to be disabled I will send you some pics soon of my puddle light install you might be interested
