Working in the cold is lousy. I don’t mind maintenance, but unless I can work off my heating floor in the garage, and the bedroom carpet I recently took out, and put on the garage floor for now, I’m not into it..hahaha Spent to much time in my younger years in a collision shop on my knees to often.. It’s pretty simple, but I enjoyed watching you bust your knuckles first…haha.
Oh wow, good question. Was something like 1 3/8" but different brands of socket may have thicker wall thicknesses so you'll have to adjust accordingly.
They can be a beast for sure, propane torch the plate to expand the metal then screw a nut on to protect the threads. A little non gentle persuasion with a hammer and knock the shaft out the opposite side.
Oh BTW, don’t open your storage box door and walk away for 12sec while the machine’s running, otherwise you burn a hole in it from the exhaust. I had it out with the manufacturer about the piss poor design, I got know where. And when you call- you get “For English Press Two” not one like the rest of the country ?
