Similar problem...only the blinds turned partially one way but not the other...only then pulling the top blind up against the rail ...took it down and everything seemed ok compared to an identical blind that works...the string inside the wheel was at a minimum...likely causing the lack of movement...so I tried rolling some string back...but the problem still exists.

@FixMyBlinds thanks for the response...however the link is for a wand not string...string mechanism is what is on the blind. Everything looks ok compared to a working blind .. except that there is less string wrapped around the roller at the top compared to the working one...and it feels stiff trying to tilt one way and no movement at all the other way.

Hi Jay, We sell both wand and string controlled tilt mechanisms. If you walk through our buying guide, you'll find a replacement cord tilt for your blinds. Since yours won't fully tilt the slats, the gear inside of the part is most likely broken.
