Great video, very clear. To anyone about to do this repair: you should know that you HAVE to remove the long plastic screws before you unclip the air filter housing. I did it the wrong way around and ended up breaking off the tops of one of the screws trying to get it out.
This video was very helpful, it's not a difficult job to do but the steps definitely help in not ripping your trim apart and also instills patience. Any idea why there would be coolant on my filter though, it was bizzare when taking it out and was only the passenger side. Thanks for uploading!
The coolant reservoir is close to that filter so is the fill cap. Could have a leak in the coolant reservoir or maybe spilled some while filling it and it ran down into your filter. Can't think of any other way it could have gotten there 🤔
has anyone had a problem with a 2004 cayenne when you come off like a interstate exit in hot weather say above 75 degrees come to a stop start to take off and the right rear wheel feels the abs kicks in or going across a ruff surface does not do it in cool weather. no codes?
There are two general ways to get at them. Remove the wheel well cover and access it through the wheel well. Obviously what a paid mechanic would do as it takes longer and generally is easier. The second way is to remove the head light enclosure and if you have slim and long enough arms, you can wiggle your way down to the H11 lights (as I remember). They twist out and you need a flat head screwdriver to pry the safety tab on the inside in order to disconnect. I've done both methods myself and as girls love scars, I go for the more manly version. Argh. ;)
