A tip for anyone who might do this job. The white box with the plug (the actuator) pops out of the black holder, and makes it easier to remove and install the actuator bracket, especially that rear screw that's tough to get to.
I'd be willing to bet that your heater core was not leaking. The nylon hose snaps likely gave up their tension allowing fluid by & it ran out & down the tubes giving the appearance of the core leaking both in the cab & engine bay.
Any clue on why my door won’t close n open with the actuator? I bought a new one and still nothing. Fuse is fine changed the resistor too. Door only opens and closes if I do it by hand or leave the actuator on without the bracket
No not all, I loved that car. I just was not driving it much because I was taking public transportation to work. So, didn't make sense to have a car payment on a car that only got driven at autocross or the track.
