In your video, you should test that the button is bad by touching the two removed wires together to check that the ignitors work. Maybe its just the battery.

I just had to change a switch. It seemed simple enough except that I couldn't get my hand in to unscrew the plastic nut. I was going to just start disassembling things until I figured it out, but I thought "check RU-vid, I bet someone has done a video about this." You saved me some time and aggravation, so thanks!

I have this exact grill, i dont know why but a few weeks ago the igniter stopped working. replaced the battery, and still not working. Not clue as to why.

Check the lead connection and the switch, the lead and the sparking end and make sure they are clean also check the area of the burner where the lead end sparks as well. These need to be clean to conduct the spark. If you still don't have a spark and your sure the battery is good, it may be that the igniter is no longer working and needs to be replaced.

These are not helpful. Why doesn't he tell us "How to determine" if we need to replace the BUTTON or the MODULE, or both? My grill stopped clicking, is the a button or module issue?

+Gw Pirro common sense would tell you to short the 2 pins that lead to the ignitor switch with a pair of shielded pliers. if it arcs the ignitor, the switch is bad. if it does not, change the battery in the ignitor first, then try again. if it still doesn't arc with pliers, you need an ignitor at the very least. it's best to replace them both at the same time if you replace the ignitor. 9 times out of ten, it's the switch, not the ignitor itself.
