Nice tutorial, how come you didn't post description? Battery's used, step by step. I can figure it out, but some may not. I think they are the Amazon envelope pro rechargeable. The rest is follow what I take apart & put back the same way.. Thanks ✊🏾
I used Eneloop Panasonic Pro NiMH rechargeable battery , but it doesn't matter what they are used for, they just need to be rechargeable. I changed the description.
I replaced the batteries because the original ones were already weak. Their charging cycle has ended. Once charged, they only stayed charged for a few minutes. It was necessary to replace them so that they could be charged.
The white wire is soldered to the thermistor and the other end of the thermistor along with the black wire is soldered to the battery. The thermistor is used to stabilize or limit the current depending on the temperature. If you don't plug it in, it will probably overheat while charging. I don't recommend not connecting it.
I've done this. Battery started to heat by themselves, them it was smelling bad and smoking ... What's the purpose of white wire ? I probably made a short circuit, or heated the top of the battery too long ( really hard to make solder on that things )
There is a thermistor on the white wire. The thermistor is used to stabilize or limit the current depending on the temperature. The thermistor should touch the battery. If the battery overheats while charging, there is probably a problem. If it heats up spontaneously, there is probably a short circuit.
Hi...Great video just what I need. If you dont mind I would like to ask few question. 1. The original battery capacity is 1800mAh..if I observed you use 2x2500 mAh? is that correc? 2. Just to make sure you are connecting the batteries in serial right? 3. Was the white cable connected to the battery body? Thank You
Answers: 1. Yes, 2x2500mAh 2. Yes, to the series 3. The white wire is soldered to the thermistor and the other end of the thermistor together with the black wire is soldered to the battery. The thermistor is attached to the battery. He is touching her. It reacts to the temperature during charging.
Nice video. Battery replacement in newer game pad is easier and cheaper than the earlier 2570 version. I still don’t know why they didn’t design a simple battery cover for a quick replacement so you don’t have to go through the whole disassembly.
