@@LongbowMedia finished my swap, love the shift feel with the bushings. My m47 handles my factory turbo car fantastic. Dont listen to the m46 vs m47 feud. M47 is identical up until 5th gear internally. Only difference is 5th in an m47 is strong and a real gear, whereas the m46 OD is made of glass

It is the same. You can follow the same method but you do not have the wires going through the gear lever so ignore that part. Also with the M47 it is best not to remove the H pattern coin. The job can be done without removing the gearbox support beam
