Thanks for the video. Was easy to disassemble the panels and install the new latch assembly. One tip: the plastic panels along the top half of the door have white plastic slot-like inserts to slide into. Remove the inserts and push them onto the plastic panels before you reattach the panels to the door. If you don't, you'll end up pushing the inserts into the hollow of the door. If they push through, you can dig them out with a hook and needle nose pliers. A I also had to reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery and reconnecting. Otherwise the open buttons wouldn't work. They just gave me a long beep. Worked like a charm after I reconnected the battery.
Great Video! just swapped one but still get beeps but does not open.. before i changed it i was able to unlock and open it manually.. Now it doesn't. Any advice?
@@teudissanchez9080 Check the connector again. Make sure the wires is not pinch. Try to disconnect the battery and reconnect it, see if it reset itself.
My rear hatch is opening manually. On my 2014 highlander. Checked the button next to glove box. & made sure back window was closed & locked. I'm pulling it open manually, does that mean the elec actuators are faulty?
If it only open half way and not all the way. That's mean the 2 trunk shocks is weak, the 2 support that's lifting the trunk up. Replace the 2 trunk shocks first.
