Dude, I can't thank you enough you made that so much easier to understand I just bought mine and it had the same code and I followed your video because you just made it so easy to follow I wouldn't have been able to without your video. Thank you. You should post so more on this car. I'm subscribing fs.
Glad you liked the video! I must warn you though I had started out with a dorman unit, but it only lasted a few months before malfunctioning again. The ACDelco one I bough to replace it is still going strong today. Although the price difference may be worth the risk haha
What I had to do the first time was use a screw driver to pry it off. Just be careful not to damage the mating surface between the actuator and the head.
The power steering pump doesnt allow you to completely remove the solenoid. Loosening the power steering pump bolts and moving it to one side allows you enough space to pull out the solenoid all the way. Thanks for the question!
Can not get the new one to seat past the o-ring. I even took it of then it will go all the way in. Put the o-ring back, won't seat in. If tried everything short of beating the shit out of it. I'm lost
I followed your instructions as per the video and when I started the vehicle it went radical. A code on my scanner showed that now I h ave major timing issues and I am not to sure how I should go about correcting this situation. Do you have any suggestions?
