like the features, setup was difficult for some of my devices (August Door lock, ru-vid.comUgkxhB5YOMNj04GuoAosExygP4cH-dKeb4aB Bose speaker)... but all switches and outlets (5), thermostat, tankless water heater. Unfortunately all I can do is turn on/off Bose. It doesn't support volume or changing channels, but I believe that is due to the particular speaker I have.... Worth getting if you already have other devices to use it with... I don't sit around and ask Alexa questions much so that doesn't really matter to me....

Thank you so much for this video...I've been on the phone with customer service for (echo the name) twice and the and the second rep helped me the most and even contacted my carrier for my wireless router...my Echo 2nd generation just stopped connecting to the wireless router...we did have issues with our router earlier that my husband had the issue taken care of through our wireless provider on the phone. Every thing went back to working except my Echo. My husband found your video and had me watch it to follow your instructions and it works....I'm so happy. Of course I went to my app on my phone and set it to add new device and it connected back to factory settings as Alexia. Once again thank you so, so much!

In my opinion, modern Information technology has always been too complicated for consumers, and prone to failure. If not "failure," then unreliability or complesity. We are slaves to continuous and frequent upgrades and installations. I have lived in seven decades. Communications and information technonolgy is now more of a pain in the ass than ever. IT Capabilities require us to deal with a huge support industry that exists for the purpose of providing "tech support." One bit of supporting evidence: the 108 Comments on this video alone (including me at the time I'm posting) who were UNABLE to do something important ON OUR OWN with ease: Many of the posts read like CELEBRATION. One Poster was in desperation to the point of calling you "life saver." We shouldn't have to suffer to the point that WHEN we get something fixed, it's like a blessing or miracle. No doubt, many THOUSANDS of people are experiencing this "How to" that SHOULD BE EASY. but is intentionally complex and difficult for consumers.

In my device the orange light is not starting I'm sick now I've been trying this for almost a 3 weeks now 😔

Apparently resetting it is the easy part. Getting everything talking to eachother again, not so much.
