Good video. I have always purchased a simple electro-mechanical dryer and clean it thoroughly very often. The most complicated component is the timer which most often will have burnt contacts. No need for all these silly electronics. Besides the circuit board, they're basically all built the same.
Theres no error code for me but it just doesnt work. It turns on and everything but when I press start/pause, i hear like clicks and nothing happens no spinning no noise. 2 mins after the timer skips to 1 and end.
Hey man, I have a brand new Samsung dryer and it won’t heat clothes etc, I tossed a shirt in it’ll even go from 30min left to 1min left on the cycle and won’t dry anything. I’ve unblocked the lint passageway and it still hasn’t worked, any ideas?

So I’ve already had a tech out and tested and replaced all heating elements, sensors, and thermistor. He recommended a new control board. I replaced that and it instantly threw a to error which wouldn’t make sense because it’s been changed and tested. How do I hard reset the machine?
That doesn't sound like a problem that would be fixed by resetting something. Try putting the old board back in to see if the problem is the same. Double-check all of your connections to the control board and thermistor. Mine stays on child lock-I push the 2 buttons , nothing . Looks like the buttons doesn’t work . Machine won’t start as well .. only stays on child lock and that’s it .

Would I have an error code if my moisture sensor is bad I swear my dryer shut off too fast before everything is dried already changed my heating element

This code appears when something is abnormal with the voltage being supplied to the dryer. If you get this error, check that the dryer is on its own circuit and not using an extension cord. If it's an electric dryer, confirm the power cord has been installed properly and the correct voltage is being supplied. If you take a model out of the country it was sold for, you may get this error, as power grids and their regulations vary between countries.
Hi please help.😢 My dryer powers on, but does not spin...and the filter symbol blinks. I tried to reset it by unplugging it and plugging it back in... long story short an error code of E4 displays after I kept my finger on power for 5 seconds... I think it's not working because of the blinking filter light. But I cleaned the filter
If the code is AE4, that would indicate the dryer's internal components cannot communicate with each other. That could be caused by a bad control board or bad wiring between the control boards.
that’s why i should’ve paid for the old school washer and dryer, bcus this new technology washer and dryer is trash… i feel like i wasted my money. i will never recommend anyone to buy a samsung washer or dryer. they both is trashy
