How to Roadtrip the Blue Ridge | On the Road on the Blue Ridge Parkway 

Did you know that America's looooooooongest park is a highway? Owned by the federal government and maintained by the National Park Service, the Blue Ridge Parkway is one of the most unique National Park properties, and in most years, the most visited property in all of the NPS. What's more? The Blue Ridge Parkway directly connects TWO MORE east coast national parks: Great Smoky Mountains and Shenandoah National Park.
Winding for 469 miles between North Carolina and Virginia, the Blue Ridge is an excellent opportunity to get back out, explore A FEW of America's treasures, and make some interesting pit stops along the way! Join us as we start from milepost 469 (the Southern End of the Parkway at Great Smoky Mountains NP) and head north through Asheville, NC, the Pisgah National Forest, and a few more surprises along the way.
