They get the same produce as your local grocer. There is no reason to go out of your way to shop there for sale items simply because it's Whole Foods. Check local flyers and compare prices, but don't go out of your way - the produce is the same. The beans are the same. -Your friendly neighbourhood flower farmer

Hey girl, I work at Whole Foods... A lot of the time they will cut the head of cabbage in half for you if the heads are too big. Just a tip. I love all of your tips. Whole Foods truly can be budget friendly if you are wise about your grocery choices. Just found your channel and love it!

Ok so you got to the hummus part and not gonna lie I hollered. I COMPLETELY agree, it's one of the best store-bought hummuses (?) I've had. Their lemon flavor (which only seems to come in the small tub?) is outta control!

Thank you so much for your Videos! It is hard to find good Vegan recipes/coaching for small amounts! And you are right to state that eating the same thing over and over again is boring! -- that just kills the desire to eat right! I usually cook for myself and maybe another and live in a tiny apartment with a small VERY small kitchen, refrigerator and storage capabilities! I came from a large family and constantly am cooking way too much! Also you are funny and well informed and a joy to watch! Thank you!

Once again highly informative video, presented in great detail. Video is so good that Whole Foods should use you as their spokesperson. We buy canned beans from regular grocery stores for same cost, but these are not organic.I was also not aware of any sale or coupons available at Whole Foods. I always believed that WF was sort of waste of time & money for most regular folks. You changed my opinion. No other stores reward 10 cents for each shopping bags that you bring. I like how you organized this video! And I like your tips! Personally, I use a lot of these tips too when shopping for food. But in my country we don't have coupons (we don't have whole foods either) so I always look for what's on sale, I buy in bulk my staples and foods that have a long shelf life (like beans, grains, canned foods).

I'm in Romania :) Here veganism is just in the beginning, but I can find more and more stuff in stores with every day that passes. Europe is not always vegan friendly :))

My experience is that Saving money and shopping at Whole Wallet are mutually exclusive. California tends to not have the same kind of coupon opportunities, either. Or I’ve missed out somehow. Sprouts and Trader Joe’s are far more affordable

I think I might have a better recommendation; don't shop at Whole Foods Markup at all, unless the products you're buying are pantry staples. Certainly don't buy any prepared food items. They're a total waste, and if you make things yourself at home you can tailor things to how you like it. Definitely stay away from dismembered dead things or pus-like excretions.

Hi there! I wanted to let you know that there is an ad for a "free" mieoko makeup brush popping up before your video starts. After checking in to it, I discovered many comments from people stating that they didn't receive their brush, there is even a facebook group for those people. I don't know how the ads work with RU-vid, or if you could even do anything if you wanted to, I just thought you should know.

I think you mentioned bulk foods in paper bags. Any particular brand you prefer? Also, I want to get away from plastic produce bags. I’ve looked at mesh bags on Amazon, but as I tend to read the reviews, well, still nothing in my “cart”. (I really have to set up my sewing machine somewhere...)

Whole Foods meat is expensive because it's ethically sourced and Non-GMO grass fed. Obviously, that's going to be an expensive food, because treating animals well is expensive in comparison to factory farming.

RainbowPlantLife I’m a Manhattan girl so I usually go to the new Harlem one or the ones by work - on Houston street or union square (which is essentially an obstacle course where you dodge other shoppers). But also I have Amazon Prime - on the Prime Now app, you can buy plenty of Whole Foods 365 products and they deliver to you in 2hrs!

Hi there! I bought cucumbers on this trip (I talk about it briefly at 9:32) but I just bought it because it was on sale. I rarely buy cucumbers because of the same reason you mentioned, and to be honest, they don't add much for me, so I'm okay not buying them.

My wholefoods app doesn't look like that. It just says get "prime time savings" but no coupons.

It's possible the app has changed since I released this video in January. Amazon has recently made updates to the store, so my app looks different too. For any of the coupons, they should be available in store now too. If you're an Amazon prime member, there are lots of savings in the store and you can use the app to scan the coupons/discounts at the register.

Hi Jillian, I don’t count calories. As long as I’m eating mostly wholesome foods, getting a good deal of fiber, protein, healthy fats and minerals/vitamins (and enjoying what I eat), I feel good!

haha yes that's fair. but i've been to a lot of grocery stores, and aside from the farmer's market, the quality of their food is the best. also, i live in NYC, and all groceries are expensive! Whole Foods is actually one of the more affordable grocery stores here.

Great tips Nisha! I'm so sad to stay that we still don't have whole foods in Montreal :( I shop there every time i'm in the US (and in Toronto they have one now)!

Hey Jess! Thanks so much for watching :) Hoping Whole Foods expands to your area soon! They're opening a whole foods 365 store not too far from me next week, guess you'll have to make a nyc visit!
