Some cheap gifts I have given: a set of tumblers that I personalized for a couples engagement party using my Cricut and scraps of vinyl, a jar of lingonberry jam from IKEA (we live far from one so it's kind of special) along with a couple recipes to use with it, a cute mug filled with different hot drinks and some homemade cookies beside. Right now I am putting some family recipes together in a recipe binder for a wedding gift. I did a really nice custom one, but you could definitely do it inexpensively or just give the recipes on recipe cards. One thing with bringing food to a party- it's not really free and can add up quickly if you aren't careful about choosing what you make.

Budgeted $100 for 15-20 people this year’s Christmas and I did it! Bought all the supplies and gifts! Took quite some time but it’s worth it.

Omg, as a grandmother and mother, I totally overspend on gifts. I'm very disciplined in all other areas, but this one. However, I always pay these gifts cash. I don't own a credit card.

I had a baby shower last week. I had bought a diaperbag ages ago for a friend. But we got into a fight before her baby came. And my husband had a friend she was also pregnant and thought well let me think what can i gift her. I had that new diaper bag. My husband told me she didnt have things for the bed and i also had some things left like a warm water bottle and a piggybank when i was little and my daughter didnt like it. So I put that in that diaper bag and i gifted those things to her. She was so happy with the stuff that she hugged me and i didnt need to break to bank for it.

$20 per gift… outlet store or Black Friday. If you cannot afford a gift then don’t give it. If your friend makes $500,000 and you make $50,000 there is nowhere a comparison. Never pay with debt. If you cannot buy anything, create something with your hands! Be creative

I like to give homemade handmade gifts. I paint and Woodburn the couple or mom, personalized ornaments, and home decor Many times I reach out and ask them their style and what I could make for them!

Just don't buy anyone gifts, ever. You will save loads of money.

I like to give the gift of teaching my 5 kids not to be ungrateful. I "window shop" on Amazon and then make homemade vanilla to gift to the extended families. 😋 it's yummy

We budget 500.00 plus we give away 200.00 to a family in need. So I guess it's 700.00

this is absolutely ridiculous! I've been watching Rachel Cruze for a year and a half. She helped me very much with my money but also I learn how tremendous culture gap there is between USA and Europe. You Americans celebrate everything BUYING stuff, SPENDING money! Christmas, babies, weddings, colleges you name it.... maybe it's good for economy but nothing else. No wonder you are deep in debt...;/
