Wondering How to get to Iceland's erupting volcano? Is it easy to view the lava? How to fly your drone over the volcano? Is it still erupting and how often does lava flow? What's the best position to climb to view the crater. I go through all these questions and more to explain how to visit this incredible continuously erupting volcano and get spectacular video of the crater, lava fields and looking inside the caldera. Again, I fly right over the lava pouring out of the Fagradalsfjall vent, forming waves of lava down the mountainside. All footage in realtime. It's easy to visit the Iceland volcano and incredible to see. All captured in the late Iceland evening sunshine.

I had a customer here in the cigar shop yesterday who had just returned from a trip where he spent two days hiking around and watching that volcano he had some great footage on his cell phone I told him about your RU-vid channel. My Fascination in this event is with how there must be connectivity between that molten lava and the molten Center of this planet, Journey to the Center of the Earth in the specially-designed craft able to withstand the Heat🤔☕ thanks for taking us on this adventure with you👍

The heat would be the least of your worries. Think of the pressures in just deep water let alone deep magma.

Where most people see beauty I immediately see a great energy source. Amazing. I want to live near a volcano.
@TrevorDennis100
@TrevorDennis100 3 года назад
I was thinking that with all that heat inside the planet, why is it so damn cold where I am right now? Come to think of it, we do have occasionally active volcanos, but nothing like this one. We make up for it with earthquakes, but they don't warm us up - just make our buildings fall down and scare the life out of you. (I live at the top of New Zealand's South Island)

Another great video. Just what I wanted to see. It’s such a unique opportunity. Most times volcanic eruptions are either in the middle of no where and impossible to get to. This one seems be almost perfect though of course not ignoring the fact you are in the presence of something which could make things go bad very quickly. Anyway can’t wait for more footage.

you should add that since July 5th the volcano has totally changed its rhythm and now is seldomly erupting. Hopefully (for tourists) it will eventually perk up again (however, the residents and local gov't are now debating if they will need to relocate part of the population due to volcanic smog)
@Jillysmom63
@Jillysmom63 3 года назад
It’s erupting again! This isn’t over by a long shot. I think it may have been erupting the whole time but underground into the lava tubes. I do wish someone had flown over it when it was quite so we could see if it was resting. I think last time there was a cave in of the side that covered everything and plugged it and that’s why it got so explosive with that giant gush…and man if that wasn’t cool! I’d love to see if do that again lol.

Great shots buddy. Looks a little different since I saw it last week. Loved your sunset sights. We went to the place you were the first time and then to the other route the second time and could see much more with our own eye from the other route. Still couldn't get close to the lava, but the sulphur gas was intense so we stayed back anyway. Truly a magnificent experience. Awe that brings me back to childhood wonder and magic.
