Tokyo is a large city that takes a few days just to see the city center, and the longer you stay, you can understand the city more. However, I know not everyone can spend that much time just in Tokyo. So today, I show you how much you can see Tokyo in just one day. It's quick tour of each neighborhood, but you can get the snapshot of what Tokyo is like.

Thank you! I'm glad you liked the video. Actually my videos are 99% from iPhone 13Pro. I have DJI Pocket2 but somehow I'm not good at shooting with small screen of it, so less than 1% of footages are from it. I feel gimbal is kind of outstanding in Tokyo streets so I'm using my hands as gimbal which I end up walking in a wired way and more outstanding in the town probably... ^^ But I do need to upgrade my tools and skills to show more different scenery of Tokyo and all over Japan in the future, so that has been exactly something occupying my mind recently and many cameras are in my shopping cart to be chosen in a few months. Chris san, please let me know if you have any recommendation seeing my footage. :) Yes! Something big was flying into my face 😆😂 Thank you again.

@@tokyokenchan Sorry for the late reply Kengo san I’ve been travelling non-stop the last few days up the east side of Australia (my home country). Thanks so much for your detailed reply, I’m amazed how well the iPhone 13 Pro captures footage, I really thought you were using a gimbal! Even in your walking shots, the footage looks great to me. I also don’t want any gear that’s too large or annoying to carry around, I might have to save up for an iPhone 13 Pro like yours (I like taking little videos and photos on my travels and sharing with friends and family). Best of luck with the camera hunting and I’ll start saving 😄☺️👍

Thank you very much for another excellent video ! Your content is really great. With just one day (and hopefully two nights) in Tokyo, my itinerary would be totally different. Not because your itinerary is bad, but because different people prefer different things. Personally, I am not a fan of Shibuya and Ginza, but thats just me.
@swissfoodie3542
@swissfoodie3542 Год назад
If I had to recommend a two nights itinerary for friends or family, it would include (in random order): - staying overnight in a ryokan (if possible with an onsen) in asakusa, to experience a ryokan, and visit senjo-ji before or after the crowds have left - walking around yanaka ginza for a very traditional way of experiencing Tokyo - akihabara, especially on a sunday (where the main streets are closed for traffic) - shinjuku (overnighting there for the second night) for great food, neon lights, game parlours and many things many westerns like me associate with Tokyo - tsukiji outer market and beautiful hamarikyu japanese garden or something very modern like teamlab planets Maybe also visit a shrine, or go to a food hall, or to a museum, or for cherry blossoms, a picnic, a cruise on the sumida river etc. It really depends on what you are looking for, when you are travelling, what your priorities are etc.
@tokyokenchan
@tokyokenchan Год назад
Thank you always! I'm glad you liked the video. I understand everyone has different favorite neighborhoods.:) Which areas are your favorite in Tokyo?
@swissfoodie3542
@swissfoodie3542 Год назад
@@tokyokenchan Thanks for your response. For overnighting, I would always put Shinjuku first, near Kabuchiko, because of the great food options, the neon lights, omeido yokocho, the big shopping malls and the great access to public transport (and also, nice little shrines, cherry blossom in the hearth of Shinjuku, Shinjuku Park etc.). But otherwise, I really like to combine so many different parts of Tokyo, and as you rightly say, it depends so much on what you are looking for etc. I find it very easy to combine many different parts of Tokyo, because public transport is so amazing.
