I'm helping a buddy out with his 110cc engine. I've not seen anything representing a circle on the flywheel. I can see lines and a the letter F. I've rolled it over a few times counter clockwise and was hoping to see the letter T. The only reason this is being done is that the head gasket already has blown. Almost cheaper to get a new motor, but this thing is still new and should not have failed so quickly.
I just replaced the head on a 90cc Chinese bike and it starts and idles great. It seems to cut out at higher RPM and It sounds like the timing is a little off. I thought I had the marks set correctly in the cam gear and the T on the flywheel. Am I incorrect?
My starter motor spins the chain and gear on the crank. I think its some kind of one way clutch or gear behind the stator. If I pull fly wheel off do I have to retime or does it only go on one way. Thanks if u have time.
Is there no chain tensioner to loosen? Do you have to install the chain on the sprocket and then install it on the cam? It doesn't seem like there is enough room to install the chain with the cam sprocket bolted on.
Hi! Ive been scratching my head over this, jm trying to time my motor but all of a sudden the chain seems too short, and i am unable to screw in the sprocket screws
@@monog870 sorry you probably got it by now but i would unscrew the gear and line it up first then screw it back ont the cam so you dont have to fight those springs.
Do you know allot about these motors and the wiring? I have a really odd problem I need help with. If you willing to please reply and maybe we can chat?
Those small balls you said that a rip out of the aluminum they go to the cam what's his hardened steel so yeah you'll probably break the bolt before you rip the threads out
