Thank you … from your videos I have done my first brake job, front struts , rear shocks , now I’m in to the body….. again thank you for making it easy and boosting my confidence
Thanks for the visual; between your guidance and the manual, resolved the issue! There was two messages on the display - service tire pressure monitor system and check tire pressure (on a few of the tires). We did have to try it a few times; once by decreasing the air pressure but it didn't clear the message but then followed the steps again and increased the air pressure (for those that don't have the manual, increasing/decreasing air pressure is listed in it) and it worked!
So, I just tried this. Got into Relearning active, went and let some air out of the front driver tire and it never beeped. Got to just about completely flat and no beep. Does this mean this sensor is bad? 2013 GMC Sierra 1500 WT 4X4 with no DIC buttons, only odometer that scrolls through.
Mine will beep twice when I click relearn but then I get nothing on any of the tires when I try to release some air?? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
Hey just gotbdonebtrying this and it still wont go away....but my truck did 2 beeps on the third wheel and would let me get to driver rear any suggestions plleeeaase
That's because the order in which he deflate tire was wrong on my 2008 chevy silverado you gotta start left driver side and then rear left until the last one right passenger tire.
So my only concern or question is do (they) compensate for the materials that the new tires are made of. Every year is a better tire with a better price.
I don't have the dic buttons, and when scrolling it doesn't have the re learn tpms at on the display, so how would I do this? I do have a key fob. I have 2008 4x4 lt chevy silverado thank you for all your advice.
Everything went well util I got to the last tire (Driver's side rear). It never beeped even though I bled it down to 20 PSI. Does this mean the censor is bad? How hard is it to replace one?
I see this is almost a year late, but yes, it means you need a new one. You simply buy a replacement online (Amazon has 'em for $15). Take it a tire shop, and they swap it out. Then, simply do the process shown in this video.
everything worked as described until I started letting air out of front left tire. it never beeped after approx. 30 seconds of letting air out. started over and the same thing happened again.
@@ComedyBros5 same thing happened to me but the sensor reads fine on the dash it’s another sensor but yet the front left tire would never beep when I’m letting air out of it and it’s in relearn mode
I have my dash reading "Tire learning active", and i get the 2 horn chirps. But when i start letting air out of the first tire, i never get a horn beep. Went all the way to 2 psi. These are new used tires i purchased, and were already on the rims. Any ideas?
What did y'all figure out on this? I just put bigger tires on my yukon and they can inflate up to 65psi. I know in the past when my pressure was over 45 in my stock wheels it gave me the warning light and eventually blew a fuse. Is there a fix to allow a high pressure without the system going crazy?
You should always put the PSI that it shows on the tag or sticker that’s on the inside door jam on the drivers side.. provided they’re a stock size tire ..
Good question but who does actually knows the answer so far I can't find any answer between all this comment...I sure need help to finish my clients vehicle in the next 2 weeks not to mention my pitbull decided to chew my sensor scan tool
All mine quit working at once on my 2010 while going down the highway. Put it in relearn. Bled them all the way down to 10 psi with no horn beep at all. Service tire monitor light comes on before I even crank over the ignition. Did all my sensors die at once or am I stupid?
If you do this and on the last tire it says the same thing "service tire monitering system" does that mean i need a new tire pressure reader. Mine is on the passenger front. It says "learning" until i get to that tire.
So my clients 2011 Silverado WT comes with key fob but once I get to the relearning tire positions and release 30 second worth of air per tire the horn won't beep not sure what else to do other than probably order new sensors. I could really use some help since my dog decided to chew my sensor scan tool...if anyone with knowledge/experience is watching this comment I would I appreciate it ur help. Thanks and blessings. Happy holidays y'all
I got to try this because sometimes my break lights won’t even come on while pressing the brake so I can’t change gears they told me because of the tms light being on it’s messing with my break lights is this true?
I can get the 2 beeps, and the marker light on the left fron comes on, but I can let all of air out of the tire and I will not get another beep to move to the next tire.
Yes. You should hear 2 beeps once you get to the driver's side rear tire. Once you hear that, it's out of the relearn sequence & you can air them up in whatever order you want.
Have a 2011 siverado 1500 ,no key fob, same dash displays as this truck in video, dont have the button to push on the dash to get to the relearn display?
i tired this on my truck but the truck wont learn the front driver tire. i tried multiple times and tired to increase pressures but no luck. what could be the problem?
i have done this , and the drivers side front didnt beep , went over to the r/front and it beeped, then to the r/rear it beeped over to the L/rear it didnt beep .. but? when the truck sits it goes off , it only comes on after i drive it more than 20 miles or so my truck is 2011 LS reg/cab .. with 48,+++ miles on it
Hi Thank you for the help. This what I was looking for. I followed all the steps ( Silverado 1500 WT) till pressing the button where you hear the horn , but Mine did not sound any horn and it didn't show “ Re-learn tire position ACTIVE” , it only flashed winked once and nothing else. Is there something wrong. I appreciate all inputs

Soooo everyone else on RU-vid is doing the order the other way from what you say. They're going driver front first then passenger back then around..you did fronts first. I'm really confused
thanks for the informative video. Why do they even have a TPS when it only takes a minute to check tire pressures once a week or so. another example of tech overkill:)
+Omar Alrubaiee We don't have a how-to video for your vehicle right now, but the basic steps in this video should be enough to do this task. Buy this part for your vehicle on 1AAuto.com: 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
You're wrong. Yes, you can also do this relearn process with a tool, and it makes the process easier, but you don't need to "reset the system" with a tool. This will work whether you replace a tpms sensor with a new one, rotate tires, change from a summer set of wheels to winter wheels, etc. The only thing necessary is that you have the correct 315 MHz sensors installed. Stop spewing misinformation.
