Ah! double-check if the colors are set to Index colors (so like white, yellow, or 54 - a single number code) or if they're set to a TrueColor ( so like 255,0,0, or 150,150,150, etc.) TrueColors will print the actual color in the monochrome plot style, but Index colors will print black/white.
